The Lung Centre of the DRK Kliniken Berlin, at their Berlin Mitte site, has been specially founded for the care and treatment of patients with lung cancer (bronchial cancer).
With the latest laser equipment specialised for lung surgery and tissue-saving surgery techniques, it is often possible to avoid resection of a complete lobe of the lung, leaving higher load capacity. This alows better lung function for the patient and a better quality of life after surgery.
